After completing the Master's degree, graduates have the opportunity to develop their scientific interests at the TUL Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, where they can undertake research projects under the supervision of top researchers and as part of an international research community.
At FTIMS, we conduct research in three scientific disciplines:
- physical sciences in the field of the natural and exact sciences
- mathematics in the field of the natural and exact sciences
- Information and Communication Technology in the field of engineering and technology
After defending the doctoral dissertation, the graduate demonstrates broad specialist knowledge, the ability to cooperate with other research centers in the country, university teaching experience and research preparation necessary for further scientific work. Those who do not plan to pursue an academic career will use the cognitive and self-education skills as well as teaching and organizational experience acquired in the course of their studies in their professional work.
