We are excited to invite all our BEng graduates (“Inżynier” degree holders in Computer Science or Technical Physics) to take part in the competition for the best diploma thesis defended between 1 April 2021 and 31 March 2022.
The aim of the competition is to encourage and recognize our graduates' achievements, popularize the ideas of IEEE and GovTech Polska, and enhance the industry-academia cooperation.
The winners will receive a certificate issued by PS IEEE and GovTech Polska – a most valuable award and proof of highest recognition. It symbolizes the University-Industry-IEEE collaboration, which involves many academic and professional experts and PS IEEE volunteers. The certificate is broadly recognized and accepted both within the scientific community and among employers.
Prizes include Jabra Elite 2 wireless earbuds and LOGITECH MX Keys keyboards.
The competition is supported by QWED, the Industry Partner, which is also represented in the competition’s selection board.
As the competition Technology Partner, Billon will immutably store digital versions of winners’ diplomas on its blockchain, providing an immutable record of the recipient's success that will be accessible for 15 years to come. This is an innovative solution for publishing high-value academic documents and credentials on distributed ledger. Saving entire documents on blockchain prevents forgery and falsification, so their holders can easily prove their credentials to interested parties like future employers.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this competition, the entry must be a Bachelor thesis that meets the following criteria:
- It was written in Polish or in English,
- It was defended in the field of Computer Science or Technical Physics during the period from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 and received a very good grade (5.0) from both the Supervisor and the Reviewer.
- The Author of the thesis has given their consent for its submission to the competition and agreed to share their personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, academic degree) for the purpose of organization and management of the Competition by fulfilling the form available at the Organizer’s website: https://ftims.pl.e4s2022.4scienceinstitute.org/
The thesis must be submitted via the Organizer’s website https://4scienceinstitute.org/ no later than 1 May2022.
