On Thursday, 23 September, the Rector of Lodz University of Technology presented awards to the winners of the competition for the best description of the impact on the functioning of society and economy in criterion III of scientific discipline evaluation. Twenty four applications were submitted.
We are pleased to announce that the third prize in the competition was awarded to the research group from the Institute of Information Technology (Assoc. Prof. Eng. Piotr Napieralski, TUL Prof. – team leader, Assoc. Prof. Eng. Rafał Szrajber, Assoc. Prof. Eng. Adam Wojciechowski, TUL Prof.) for Restoring, protecting and development of cultural heritage wih the use of 3D, AR and stereoscopy technologies.
The competition and the event were coordinated by the University Office for Development, as part of task 3.2 supporting realization of III University mission from the task budget of TUL.
