On Thursday, September 23, Lodz University of Technology proudly announced the winners of the Rector’s competition for the best description of societal and economic impact within the third criterion of scientific discipline evaluation. Out of 24 impressive submissions, the most outstanding works were honoured during this celebratory event, showcasing the vital role of research in shaping our communities and economy.
We are pleased to announce that the third prize in the competition was awarded to the research group from the Institute of Information Technology (Assoc. Prof. Eng. Piotr Napieralski, TUL Prof. – team leader, Assoc. Prof. Eng. Rafał Szrajber, Assoc. Prof. Eng. Adam Wojciechowski, TUL Prof.) for Restoring, protecting and development of cultural heritage wih the use of 3D, AR and stereoscopy technologies.
The competition and ceremony were coordinated by the University Development Department as part of Task 3.2 funded from the TUL task-based budget.
