4 The Science Institute announced the results of the competition for the best engineering thesis. Among those awarded in the Graphics 4 Science category were two theses defended at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics!
The patrons of the competitions were: Centrum GovTech Polska and the polish section of IEEE. The jury awarded prizes in the categories:
- AI 4 Science 2022
- Blockchain 4 Science 2022
- Cybersecurity 4 Science 2022
- Embedded 4 Science 2022
- Graphics 4 Science 2022
In the last category, special awards were given to our graduates.
Natalia Kuzan won first-class honors. Her engineering thesis - Interactive Terrain Model for VR Tourism Application - was written under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Bartłomiej Stasiak.
Tomasz Witczak won third-class honors. His engineering thesis - Application of deep learning methods for image synthesis - was written under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Adam Wojciechowski.
